Some of my thoughts
EQ represents memories of my childhood, The memories include the time spent with my brothers and sisters in the 1970's and 80's writing songs and singing together. The days we had the opportunity to be in studios, working with different producers, and even having music reach local radio back in the day.
But we've grown older and sadly one of our sisters who had such a lovely voice, has since passed away. But now, time and space have given me the opportunity to offer songs written from the heart, for the world to hear.
The power of music is such a unique gift from above. It heals and comforts, and in many ways restores what was lost. From the memories of sitting in the dark and telling stories with my siblings and uttering Titles, to conjure up stories in our imagination to show the ability to tell the whole story, in just a few words. That was storytelling. That was poetry. That was, and is, music.
As for the apples that you see on the trees in the Logo, it's a tribute to the man we called, The Apple Man. That's what we called him. He always pulled up in his station wagon just in time to provide us just what we needed on the days when the lights were turned off. I can see the ledger in his hand, just one of many debts we owed. Enjoy the songs, may they comfort you. May they restore your hopes and dreams. Enjoy the releases to come.
